The Cork City Soho Solo’s met this morning in the NSC and the topic for discussion was the “Rules of Email Marketing”. It was nice to see a couple of new faces at the meeting and thanks to John Hargaden from wevolution.ie who provided members with tips and advice on how to go about building your database and what should be included in the content of your ezine. We also discussed how email can be a powerful marketing tool for increasing brand recognition, increasing sales, driving traffic to your website and building and maintaining customer relationships.
Interestingly enough I recently read an article on Dane Carlson’s Work at Home Business Opportunities Weblog. It’s about a woman who sends out 15 emails a day to her e-mail list and has sales of $4 million a year!!
